Meet Shailene Woodley (@shailenewoodley), an actor and activist who recently spent a week on the Sargasso Sea learning about the effects of microplastics on our oceans. ? ?The thing that struck me the most is how each one of our decisions, no matter where we live in this world, affects every other human being and every other creature on this planet. Being thousands of miles away from any continent, and seeing the effects of human recklessness and ignorance inflicted upon the ocean was mesmerizing to me,? she says. ?It took my breath away with how truly connected we all are and how easy it is to lose sight of that. We can all find a little more space for kindness and generosity with one another, because the minute we hold space for that, the minute we are able to care more about things like our oceans and seas. ?
